The Annie Othen show

Today I get to be a guest on the Annie Othen show, BBC radio Coventry and Warwickshire 94.8FM, 104FM, 103.7FM and DAB Digital Radio or over the internet.
The topic is romance and favourite romance books. Other guests are supposed to include a counsellor from relate and (fingers crossed) Andrew Davies.
It should be fun.
Do please come and listen. The show runs from 10 am to 1 pm but I think I will be on early about 10:15.

I just subscribed to a bunch of blogs, including yours, so I won't keep missing weeks of posts. So was Andrew Davies there? What was it like?

Yes, Andrew Davies was there. Or rather he was on one phone line and I was on another. Annie Othen was at the studio. He seems very pleasant.
The main thing I have learnt from appearing on radio several times is:
1.They can do a remote link, and if you have a good phone, no one can tell.
2. Have a list in front of you of all the points, statistics etc. It gives you confidence.
3. Smile and pretend you are talking to a good friend. The smile comes through in your voice.
4. Wear comfortable clothes -- no one can see you it's radio. Radio is all auditory. TV is all visual.
Thanks for subscribing. That is actually a really good idea. I must do that.
